You should always keep your dots on the target for the extra 3% bonus to all your damage. This includes Vital shot and flechette round.
Another thing i try to do is keep two stacks of Upper hand up at all times. This allows the use pugnacity when eve its not on cool down.
Filler use flurry bolts, it cost no energy and does damage, helps keep your energy rotation.
IF you stuck in front of a boss and cannot back blast, use Quick shot, but not alot otherwise you will burn through all your energy.
Thermal grenade for AOE, and when your are 30m plus, as we are limited to 10m on most of our abilities
Disappearing act, can and should be used when ever not on CD. Although It can be saved for wipes or aggro drops.
